*Francisco Jos̩ de Goya y Lucientes (March 30, 1746 РApril 16, 1828) - arguably the "Father of Modern Art" - created a set of 80 aquatint prints during the 1790s called Caprichos. I encourage a visit to the copy in The Arno Schmidt Reference Library.
